Joshua Otting is the owner of Apartment Realty & Management, LLC and has been an active apartment investor, property manager, and real estate consultant for the past 10 years.  He personally owns many apartments in Michigan and is always seeking to add to his portfolio.  His current focus is to expand the marketing of the company's services into new regional areas.

Steve Gucciardo has been actively involved in real estate sales and investing for the past 15 years.  He owns several apartments and other rental property.  His goal is to help real estate investors realize there specific investment objectives through apartments.

Douglas Schellig

For the last 40 years, Doug Schellig has been involved in all areas of business.  He has owned 4 businesses involving manufacturing, primary CNC Turning and Milling.  He was considered an expert in CNC programming.  One of his businesses, Delta Valve Inc., an Oil Field Valve Company, was headquartered in Odessa, Texas.

 

During his early years, Doug formed a musical trio in the Air Force while in Europe.  The trio, The Castlegate Trio, played in the US Clubs, made records in German, and worked on German TV.  The Trio remained in Europe after completing their USAF Hitch.

 

Recently, Doug spent over 7 years consulting with small to medium sized businesses in all facets of their operations including:  Marketing, Sales, Order Entry, Manufacturing, Operations, Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Succession Planning, and Quality Assurance.

 

Facing retirement, Doug thought he just couldn’t be idle and he bought his first apartment building consisting of 20 Units.  Since then, he has immersed himself in the study of multi-family properties.  Using the knowledge from his years of consulting and concentrated study, he is ready to share his knowledge of the subject.  Doug is currently a property manager at Apartment Realty & Management, LLC.

Doug is also available to speak on a variety of topics including but not limited to: apartment acquisition and exit strategies, landlording, property management, and negotiating in any environment.

Paul Balogh brings over 20+ years in local real estate sales.  In addition to bringing in new business for the company, Paul actively assists in managing properties.

David Galli is currently the leasing manager for our company.  His specialty is placing new tenants and residents at the various properties we manage.

Dennis Fassett

Dennis has been active in real estate investing for six years in the metro Detroit area. At present he owns or controls over $3 million in real estate including a portfolio of single family homes and two apartment properties that totals 54 units.

Dennis is a published author of a book on single family real estate investing and has another one in process on buying your first apartment building. He also teaches seminars on the location, acquisition, and management of cash flow real estate, and he coaches and consults on an individual basis as well. He specializes in helping first time apartment buyers make their first purchase.

He earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Southern California in 1992 and has over twenty years of broad-based experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Business Operations, and Information Technology, in addition to his experience in Real Estate investing.

He is also active in the community. He has been a member of the Financial Advisory Board at St Regis Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills for six years and presently serves as its Chairman, and he recently completed a three year term as Vice Chairman of the Financial Advisory Board for the Village of Beverly Hills, Michigan.

On a personal note, he has been married for 19 years to his wife Marily, who he met at grad school at USC. Together they have four children - Victoria, Catherine, Dennis David, and Anika Grace. In his spare time he is an avid ice and roller hockey player during the winter and golfer during the summer.
